Student Commander and Solo Pilot, Zakeer Siraj, accepted into Embry Riddle!

Zakeer Siraj, our Student Commander and solo pilot has been accepted to and will attend Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University this fall. Zak, who is a senior at Newark Academy, will major in Aeronautical Science and aspires to be a professional pilot.

Zak joined Eagle Flight at the age of 14. He has gone from cadet and climbed the ranks of the program to become student commander, the highest leadership rank in the program. Zak is a recipient of the Top Gun Award, Eagle Flight’s highest honor in flight training achievement. He is a solo pilot and has passed his FAA Private Pilot written exam. He’s currently working on his cross country training and will receive his pilot’s license prior to graduating from the program.

Embry Riddle will soon see the benefits of having a student like Zak!!!
